What is Circular Stockyard Sytem?

Circular stockyard system is a cost-effective, environment-friendly and efficient circular storage system, which is used to buffer, storage or blend bulk materials such as coal, coke, ore, ore sand, bauxite, petroleum coke, cement, fodder, fertilizer, woodchips, etc.

Circular stockyard system is an excellent stockyard storage solution for coal-fired power plants, ports, mining, metal and other industries. Different from the conventional longitudinal stockyard, the stockpile in the circular stockyard system is circular shape, which solves the problem of handling high capacity bulk materials in a limited space.

How Circular Stockyard Sytem Works?

Circular stockyard receive bulk material through an externally connected trestle belt conveyor, bulk materials can be stockpiled into the circular stockyard by stacker, reclaimer moves bulk materials in circular stockyard to a bottom hopper located underneath the center column of circular stockyard stacker reclaimer, then feed materials to a belt conveyor through vibrate feeder, then transport materials to the designated place by a tunnel conveyor.

Stacking process: bulk materials conveyed from outside trestle belt conveyor to stacker through a central discharge chute, transfer bulk materials to the boom conveyor on stacker, then stockpiled the bulk materials to the circular stockyard by using the cone shell method.

Reclaiming process: bulk materials stacked in circular stockyard reclaimed from the inner slope to a bottom hopper located underneath the center column of circular stockyard stacker reclaimer by reclaiming mechanism (scraper blades, bucket wheel, etc.), then transferred to an underground belt conveyor by vibrating feeder, and then further transported to the designated place.

Bulk materials are transported to the trestle belt conveyor in the circular stockyard via the transfer station, the trestle belt conveyor passes through the dome roof and is supported at the top of the central column of the circular stockyard stacker reclaimer. The transported materials are stacked into a circular cone shaped stockpile by the circular stockyard stacker, and the circular stockyard scraper reclaimer scrapes bulk materials into the cone hopper and chute sytem under the central column along the slope of the stockpile, then outputs the bulk materials through the vibrating feeder and the underground belt conveyor.
