Our Sourcing and Procurement Services

1. Standardize effective procurement process suitable for project and owner

We have set up a vendors and suppliers prequalifying system, and maintain the database. We make the database open before project procurement activities commencement to ensure optimal vendor selection.

5. Manage Procurement activities and award PO

We work closely with Owner project team, implementing procurement activities (inquiry, competitive negotiation or bidding), draw up POs/contracts and negotiate with the chosen supplier for price, delivery, spares, service, payment terms, etc.

6. Contracts management

Once the contract or purchase order is signed, we enter all the relevant data into the project control systems, maintain communication with contractor to manage contracts effectively, ensuring contractor proceeds with the execution of the contract in accordance with the agreed scope, specifications, terms and conditions, and schedule.

7. Quality assurance and Shop surveillance

We have detailed procedures and practices, we provide quality surveillance services to ensure that the equipment, materials and services purchased for the project from around the world meet the specified standards and specifications.

Our procurement expertise work closely with engineering to assign inspection level requirements to each equipment or material according the level of criticality, the location of the manufacturer, and other factors to be determined by the Project, ensuring that the desired level of quality in the project is achieved for materials and equipment purchased through the execution of quality surveillance and control of quality inspection services.

8. Expediting

The possible delivery delays of equipment, material, drawings and documents can threaten the project schedule and cost. We identify the critical contracts and assign criticality ratings to each piece of equipment on the equipment list, prepare expediting or surveillance report with early-warning of potential slippage regularly from the date of award to delivery on-site, to ensure that the delivery of equipment, material, drawings, and documents is maintained in line with construction requirements.

9. Logistics from workshop to site

We provide a “door-to-door” integrated logistics solution from factory to site for the project, including route survey, seaworthy packing, export crating, producing packing list based on actual packed contents, freight consolidation, chartering, collection, inland transportation to port of export, customs clearance, inland transportation to the site, etc. We have experienced the projects located in remote, difficult-to-reach areas in foreign countries.

10. Materials Management and Tracking

Materials Management may seem basic but, unfortunately, the parts shortfalls inevitably happen in many projects due to the flaw of material management, which inevitably brings disastrous consequences to project’s schedule and commissioning.
